Plastic bags are very harmful to our wildlife, to our resources, and in the future - could be very harmful to our economy. Every year, 500 billion to 1 trillion plastic bags are used, but less than 1% are recycled. That is over one MILLION per MINUTE. Unfortunately, Austin, TX recently ended the ban altogether, and standing for it is something I won’t do.

If we could expand this law to all of Texas, we could start the journey to save our planet.
