Gday, My name is Tony Magrathea. Yes, 'that bloke who has been trying to get Tony Abbott into the High court to show he is in parliament legitimately'. Over 2 and a half years of utter frustration from just about every politican in the country, only a few have dared to raise this issue before being silenced by their parties. I think a lot of other MPs may be dual citizens and a 'secret boys club' is making sure no one gets to ask. Gary Gray quit, as did Bernie Ripoll and Bob Baldwin, and Andrew Nikolic got voted out. They were all, I am pretty sure, dual citizens and in breach of the Australian Constitution. I live in Queensland and have been unable to get any serious elgal help because the LNP up here control 30,000 businesses which is a huge risk for any lawyer that might get black listed for helping me. I have been to the Federal Court, was validated, and then told 'no', they can't progress because it's a High Court matter. So, off to the High Court in Brisbane I went, where they faxed the paperwork to Sydney. Stonewalled again (the registrar happened to be a Liberal Party member. Coincidence?). My last trip had a writ of summons (the only way to do this before an election) knocked back because I said "AJ Abbott, I am seeking a penalty under the Common Informers Act because YOU sat in parliament as a dual citizen". They knocked me back for using the word "YOU". I have to travel by public transport about 6 hours a day, which isn't good for my rugby-ravaged body, so I can only do a trip every few weeks or so. The Federal Election has now caught up with us all, and it is now down to the residents of Abbott's Warringah electorate. If you live there or know someone who lives there who wants to take Tony Abbott to the High Court (acting as the Court of Disputed Returns) you have 40 days from the declaration of the poll to lodge with the High Court. If you can I would suggest legal help - there are many in Sydney who aren't terrified of the Liberals. Your local legal aid wont be able to help but can point in the right direction. If you want to do it yourself you can use the High Court of Australia Form 22 available at: http://www.hcourt.gov.au/assets/registry/forms/Form-22.rtf to get started. A $500 bond will be required to get the action started. Then Mr Abbott will be forced to show how he can claim to be only Australian. It is out of my hands now and it is up to you - the people of Warringah, to do what this petition signed by 33,000 people asks our politicians to do.
