The MTLB are holding a public meeting this Thursday (9th Feb) between 6PM and 8PM at the Onehunga RSA. Please get along to this meeting and voice your support for a foreshore reclamation and make it clear you want Auckland Council to take a leadership role in making this happen. Currently the NZTA, Auckland Council, and Panuku Development Auckland are all using the fact of there being an Outstanding Natural Feature designation on the foreshore outside Aotea Sea Scouts as an excuse against reclamation, when they should be investigating ways to overcome this and give Onehunga a foreshore to be proud of.
