The petition is now well over 161,000 people. Kenneth Clair is on a pathway to a new trial. Our efforts to get Mr. Clair exonerated by the petition and the media we have been getting has been successful. There are 3 new documentaries being readied for the release to the public. This has all been because of your support and your contribution to our “Historic Journey”.
I have always told you that we are in this thing together, and our efforts have made a difference. We had managed to link ourselves together in one of the most prolific efforts to reform the justice system. Our struggle has not just been for Kenneth Clair, but for all of the Kenneth Clair’s, and we are making national and international history.
In the very beginning of our journey, I promised you that we would be noting our comments, our opinions, our questions, and our concerns in a Historic Journal. I am keeping that promise now because we are in the process of putting together our Historic Journal in book form. That's right! We are going through all of our updates as far back as December 2015 when we decided that we were willing to take on the justice system, and prosecutors with a win at all costs attitude who commit criminal offenses at the expense of innocent people. This book will be a full account of our struggle that started from a single concern and multiplied to over 161,000 people signing a petition.
Our journey has been noted not only nationally, but worldwide. History is always made by those who advocate continuously for justice and stand up for others. We have taken on this responsibility, and at this time in history we should be proud of our effort. This is why we documented our pathway, and we are going to publish it because each of us have contributed a part of our self to make this all possible. Sometimes civil minded people do not sign petitions, but agree with the content. Other times, some of the people that would follow this petition never see the petition at all. Now, we are taking another venue by putting our Historic Journey in bookstores and libraries.
This is a book about all of our conversations, opinions, discussions, advice, and the unity that we have behind this just cause. If you have an issue having any of your comments in our Historic Journal book, please let me know. Although our struggle has been public record, there may be reasons that you do not want your name mentioned in this book. Please let me know and your name and comment will not be mentioned. You can also have your comment listed as “Anonymous”. However, for everyone else, I am keeping my promise to make sure that history will note our struggle that we have started to reform the justice system. By no means are we finished, because this is just the first journal which will start from December 2015 up to the end of this month.
So feel free to comment on this update because we want to get something out to the public in book form before the next court date of October 14, 2016. We are also planning a rally for the same date, and we will be able to sell and distribute our publication as part of our efforts to expose prosecutors who take the lives of innocent people by means of criminal and unethical practices. I know that some people do not like to sign petitions, but I can assure you that they will read our book. Our grassroots effort has impacted the justice system through our petition, documentaries that have come out, and will come out, and through our historic Journal book.
Please comment on our campaign and this update, and please continue to get the word out there that we are serious about justice reform.
