Things in the justice system are to the point now that there are a lot of problems that could have been corrected in the past, but we are suffering now because we never took the time in the past to correct them. However, if we protest in a nonviolent way and our goals are to constructively correct some of these issues without violently retaliating, we can open up that necessary conversation and change things. I am so glad that we have picked a nonviolent approach to changing the justice system. I am also proud of everyone for their composure, patients, and participation in this campaign. For some reason there were some difficulties in our last posting, so most of the information that I am sharing with you was in the last update. So feel free to repost any comment that you made, but I had to repost this for our records. Kenneth Clair is without an attorney again in Superior Court. Denise Gragg according to Kenneth Clair will not be representing him anymore. Myself, and others found out that there is a conflict that will prevent Ms Gragg for staying on Clair’s case. I am sure that Ms. Gragg did not knew of the conflict because she has worked on countless cases. Ms. Gragg represented Margaret Hessling in the “welfare scandal” which was held over until Mr. Clair’s conviction. The jury never heard about the welfare case, which was a possible motive for Hessling and Henriksen to have committed the murder. Investigations by the federal public defender investigators worked up a motive for Hessling being a person of interest because of an interview with Linda Rodgers’s mother. Rodgers’s mother told federal investigators that Linda had called her days before the murder and was in fear of her life. This was because Linda feared that Hessling believed that Linda Rodgers made the anonymous tip which started a welfare fraud investigation that would have sent Hessling, if convicted, to prison. Hessling ended up getting a sweet deal at the end of the Clair trial on the welfare case. I know I have asked a lot of you in the past. However, I am going to ask anyone who can volunteer to assist this campaign, to please let me know. Mr. Clair really needs your support, and as a group we need to do everything that we can to help Mr. Clair, and to fight this injustice in our system. Mr. Clair has been very depressed lately because his wife Elizabeth has been in the hospital for the last month and is not doing well as expected.
