First I like to thank all of the supporters for all your efforts. We have retained an attorney now to assist us in all the legal matters of the Campaign, and we will be ready to assist Mr. Clair the next time he goes into court. I will be visiting Mr. Clair this week and I am planning on introducing him to the attorney. We are not going to let any more backroom, John Doe, things happen in Mr. Clair’s case. I received a letter from Mr. Clair a couple of days ago, and he gave this message to us, “If I had a hat on I would tilt it, as I would also bow my head, out of gratitude”. Very humble words to you, his supporters. These are our future Plans and this is why we need your help…. I will be visiting Mr. Clair in San Quentin this week. We are planning a rally in the Santa Ana Civic Center in the next 30 days. I will be going to Sacramento in March to Legislative Day and I will be trying to get support for the bill that I am writing that will hold prosecutors and judicial authorities criminally liable for withholding exculpatory evidence and other evidence, maliciously for the purpose of obstructing retrials and exonerations. We will also be taking the Clair Petition to Governor Brown and asking him to exonerate Kenneth Clair, just as I did last week to Tony Rackauckas. Police have some form of criminal accountability, even though it doesn’t always work, but judicial and prosecutors only have their hands slapped and told not to do it again. Meanwhile, people they convict like Mr. Clair are sentenced to rot in prison.
