I would like to thank everybody that has been signing this petition, and has been passing it on to others to sign. We are really making a difference. All of our calls, emails, and letters are being routed to other departments because they are avoiding answering our questions. I can assure you that these authorities and politicians are aware of the support that Kenneth Clair is getting on this petition. So keep up the good work, even though these authorities and politicians are acting like they never heard about our petition, or Kenneth Clair. This petition is an embarrassment to TONY RACKAUCKAS and he still may be too arrogant to exonerate Mr. Clair. He knows he cannot reopen Mr. Clair’s case because there would not be enough evidence if the DNA evidence is presented. If DNA was present when this case originally took place, this case would not have even been filed. The only choice that RACKAUCKAS has now is to admit that they bought charges against the wrong person, and exonerate Mr. Clair. However, we know that RACKAUCKAS will not exonerate Mr. Clair, no matter what the circumstances are, because he is too small of a man to admit that his office made a great mistake. RACKAUCKAS would rather team up with MICHAEL JACOBS who was the DA that convicted Clair, that he even (RACKAUCKAS) accused of misconduct, then do the right thing. RACKAUCKAS will continue to try to avoid exonerating Mr. Clair, just like he has been avoiding the other investigations both state and federal that have come upon his office. But thanks to you the supporters, we will continue to bring it to Mr. RACKAUCKAS’S attention, but now we need to focus our attention on GOV. JERRY BROWN, and the California State Attorney KAMALA HARRIS. Both of these authorities have the power to investigate and exonerate Mr. Clair. We also should not let Representative LORETTA SANCHEZ, Senators DIANA FEINSTEIN and BARBARA BOXER, or Secretary ALEX PADILLA off the hook either, because they can also be doing more than they’re doing. If it wasn't for you the supporters, this would be just another situation where the justice system has failed, and an innocent person had been put in prison for the rest of their lives, or put on death row awaiting to be executed. Every supporter, has my sincere gratitude and respect, because if it wasn’t for you this movement would not be possible. Here is what your support is doing. We will be getting a lot of local media attention this week. I will be updating you as articles are printed, or TV coverage is created on our petition. Even as a local media comes about on the story, I will be working on the national coverage of our petition. I have been getting a lot of interest both local and national on this outrageous misuse of the justice system in Orange County. I also want reiterate that this case is more than just Kenneth Clair. There are so many Kenneth Clair’s that are being caught up in an unfair justice system, and it is about time that we all stand up and put an end to it. The justice system should be about fairness, and not the quest by prosecutors to further their careers by convicting innocent people, and then trying to protect these wrongful convictions by ignoring them, prolonging the process for exoneration, or just executing people before justice can find them. I will not let all of your voices and comments go to “deaf” ears. If each of us continue to find 5 or more people to support this petition every week, we will make a difference.
