Kenneth Clair Petition Supporters, There are no words to describe my gratitude to each supporter for your participation in making this petition successful. We will continue to push on until Kenneth Clair receives the justice that is due to him. The success of this petition is making it possible to save the life of a man who is in line to be put to death, without due process of law. Now that we stand at over 101,000 signatures, we are entering into the next phase of this historical moment in history. The next phase is the “contact phase”. I am asking every supporter who wants their voice heard to contact these local, state, and federal officials. Please call, email, or send letters to these officials. They may not want to hear from us, but over 101,000 voices cannot be avoided or silenced. Our message is very clear. This message is that Kenneth Clair and anyone who is in the same predicament that Kenneth Clair is in, should have due process of the law. The people that we put in power to administer justice, cannot continue to kill people or take away someone’s liberty, just to close a case or because they are the wrong color or homeless. Also, the same people who had the power to administer justice, should be held accountable for their actions. The district attorney has been ignoring the request of the people in this matter, and similar matters for too long. They would rather ignore the voice of the people, just because they do not want to admit that they convicted the wrong person. The district attorney's so arrogant that he believes he has the power to withhold exculpatory evidence, but we the supporters of this petition think differently. I am asking that each one of you contact as many of these officials as possible, because they are accountable to us. we need to put an end to this “good ole boy” philosophy that denies people of both their civil and constitutional rights.
