We the People do solemnly find and publish as follows:

1. That Eric Greitens is the duly elected Governor of the State of Missouri.
2. That certain allegations have been made against him and that the House of Representatives is currently investigating those allegations.
3. That HR 2 would authorize the Special Investigative Committee on Oversight  to continue its investigation and propose Articles of Impeachment or censure of Gov. Greitens.
4. That the People have lost confidence in the Special Investigative Committee on Oversight because it has previously issued three one-sided and incomplete reports.
5. That HR 2 does not provide for a fair and transparent process and is contrary to the basic fundamentals of due process.

Wherefore, We the People demand the following:

1. That you vote NO on any resolution that permits any closed hearings by the Special Investigative Committee on Oversight, except any hearing maybe closed by agreement and with consent of Gov. Greitens.
2. That you vote NO on any resolution that does not permit Gov. Greitens’ attorneys to cross-examine witnesses before the Special Investigative Committee on Oversight.
3. That you vote NO on any resolution that does not grant Gov. Greitens the right to subpoena witnesses of his own before the Special Investigative Committee on Oversight.
4. That you vote NO on any resolution that does not provide for the application of basic evidentiary rules.
