Update: Save BRI editor

Dear Colleagues, Over 870 people (authors, readers and reviewers) from our community have now signed the petition. There has been strong support and solidarity in this protest. Taylor and Francis have ignored our community and specifically ignored the petition, as well as the resignation of the associate editors and editorial board members. T&F are unwilling to compromise or negotiate. Given the disdain that T&F holds for its readers and authors and the poor governance processes underpinning their decision, I leave it to you to decide how to respond. Publishers depend upon your good will and hard work - supplied without financial gain. You may wish to avoid BRI in the future and transfer your allegiance elsewhere. As my contract is not renewed, I will leave BRI at the end of 2018 and will be embarking on new publishing projects. I hope to involve the many colleagues whom I have worked with over the years.
