Hi there everyone.
Some good news and bad news. The good news first. I will be on BBC Breakfast - the morning of New Year Day. Reviewing the 1st newspapers of 2019. Which is a true honour. And a lovely surprise. Didn't think a year ago - that I would be doing that.
I didn't even know if I would be alive. So I am truly grateful for everyone.
The bad news is that in 2019 I will have to stop my non for profit work and this petition.
We did amazingly. We almost got to 6000 people. But in the end - petitions take a lot of work or to be about something a lot of people are truly passionate about.
Changing the way the NHS work didn't seem to be that. So from 2019 I have to concentrate on me and my new job ...(and my daughter.)
The good news is that I am still free of Type 2 Diabetes, I had my yearly check in December, I finished the book in October, gave it away for free for two months. Now the work to bring change. That will have to continue by those in the NHS that are paid to bring change.
The great news. Is that we all know that the change will come.
Here's to you - and here's to being the change you want to see in the world. Here's to an amazing 2019 for us all.
Hi and bye.
Yours sincerely
Dan Sodergren
PS The petition WILL STILL go to MP Matt Hancock in 2019.
