This is important so that those communities under extra strain from new housing can receive improvements to community facilities and extra funding for community groups such as scouts, guides, local sports clubs, toddlers,children and youth groups etc. The intention of the Central Government financed Scheme was for affected communities to be consulted and for those monies to be passed onto them. But Bromsgrove District Council have done neither and are keeping all the money in the central district fund, thus denying affected communities their rightful funding. To be eligible to sign this petition you must be over 18 and live, work or use community facilities within Bromsgrove district.
