According to the NZ Federation of Motor Clubs report there are 200,000 l historic and classic collectors in NZ, about 3.6% of the population. As of today, 2,188 of them have signed the petition to the Minister of Regulation asking him for fit-for-purpose regulations for collectible motor vehicles.

For a start, we're lucky the Minister is an engineer and a self-confessed petrolhead. He will understand our passion, having begun at age 15 to build a Lotus 7 replica that took him eight years to complete (because he had to earn the money to buy the steel). But to get his attention, we need everyone to sign the petition.
