Sprint to the Finish Line, It Matters!

Friends - we will soon know whether we've been successful in moving forward the Fair Funding fight in Cherry Hill. Calls can make the difference as we await the Governor's address on the 13th and District funding numbers out on the 15th. Tell our local elected officials what we need them to do: fight for us NOW; this year, this month, this day! Call every day if you can. Put the script to the side and tell your story. What do YOU want for YOUR kids and YOUR town? What needs to be fixed in YOUR school or YOUR neighborhood? Can we get our "fair" share of 70% of the funding formula instead of struggling for a decade, most recently under 50%. Fair Funding started with the vision to create a community whose schools are preparing our kids to excel in a complex, interconnected, changing world; and whose parents, residents, BOE and District are aligned and communicating. The hope is that by getting the community involved we can renew our schools, sleep a little better knowing that security has been addressed, and secured the funding to make the wheels go around for a world-class education in our precious town.
