Cherry Hill Fair Funding: Busy Week Ahead!

Dear Friends - thank you for joining the Fair Funding fight in Cherry Hill. A decade's neglect is showing at our precious schools and we need action from Trenton NOW. You have signed the Change.org petition and our numbers are showing, being remarked on and showing unity in Cherry Hill. We need to save our town and the town's promise of a great education! We are approaching a super-critical week and we need further action to underscore our resolve: 1. Friday Calling begins tomorrow. Suggested script: My name is ______ and I am calling from Cherry Hill to ask you to support fully funding Cherry Hill's SFRA for the upcoming budget. Cherry Hill students have been shortchanged since 2008. Our buildings are deteriorating, our technology and materials are outdated, our auditoriums and playgrounds are in bad shape. Attend the Garden State Coalition of Schools meeting next Wednesday, February 21, at 7pm at Malberg (45 Ranoldo Terrace) and tell Assemblyman Lou Greenwald that we need our fair share, we've needed it for 10 years and our school facility decline can be directly linked to unfair funding of HIS OWN FORMULA. Bring your voices and bring a friend or two. 3. Come out to the Fair Funding meeting at Malberg on February 22 at 6pm. We need additional volunteers, ideas and energy. The time is now, we are 772 strong and growing. And we need change. 3 days of activity in one week? It's a lot, but do as much as you can. And tell a friend too. We're in this together.
