I just want to share an update on what we as community have achieved through this initiative: + More than 4100 signatures in almost two weeks and growing + We as community are more united and standing together + Together we stand for safer and better Australia + Media attention resulting better awareness of issue + Youth Summit of 200 delegates to discuss the issue and solutions + Wider community involve in neighborhood watch + Community working and signing manual petitions to Parliament + Police articles highlighting demand of more police + Police requesting revision of proposed changes in youth law + Increase in police's patrolling in high risk area + Higher number of arrests performed by Police This was not easy, every step of all of us brought us to this point. The journey is not over, now we need to take this message to our politicians who we trusted. They need to understand impact of these crimes, urgent actions to stop this spreading virus and long term solution to better handle these situations. Let’s take hard copy of this petition to our local politicians and submit it officially. Keep sharing the petition with everyone interested for safer community.
