My appeal hearing will be at 11am on Tues 5th March at GMB Euston Offices in London at 22 Stephenson Way, NW1 2HD.

Tony Greenstein of Labour against the Witch-hunt (LAW) and Rabbi Ahron Cohen of the Neturei Karta have agreed to attend the hearing and speak to the GMB Central Executive Appeals Committee in my defence. I want the recommendation of the GMB Scotland Committee to cancel my membership to be rejected, so that I can return to being the only GMB shop steward at NHS Lothian.

GMB Video

I continue to punt the video about the GMB expulsion as much as possible. Wherever you live – the UK, the US, Spain (it has Spanish subtitles) please share the link to the video at www.tinyurl.com/gmbihra . I was stunned when film director, Ken Loach, range me up. He said of the video “Your case is made very clearly and is unanswerable. Pete, your position is justified and has to be defended.” The more people see the video, the more they realise the lunacy of the IHRA definition. Ken said last April that Labour MPs who joined antisemitism protests should be ‘kicked out’ of party. See this Independent article. I love him

New Evidence

I’m compiling new evidence for the hearing. As we know, Israel pulls every UK politicians’ strings, as Al Jazeera’s undercover investigation “The Lobby” showed. This film, which you will see as a link at the end of my one, exposes how the Jewish Labour Movement (JLM) and Labour Friends of Israel (LFoI) were funded through the Israeli embassy to bring down Labour politicians critical of Israel and to undermine us at elections. In September I complained to Labour’s NEC that it was time to sever the JLM’s 100-year old affiliation to the Party; see tinyurl.com/jlmcomplaint

Little did I know that one of those 39 NEC members I’d emailed was a senior member of the JLM and a GMB organiser. Rhea Wolfson, an avowed Zionist and prospective parliamentary candidate, was unhappy that I had complained to the NEC about how JLM was affiliated to Labour yet working against it. My complaint was dismissed by Zionists at HQ, but Ms Wolfson used the GMB to get her revenge upon me. More on her at tinyurl.com/rheagmb

Holocaust Guilt

I’ve been getting called an anti-Semite and Holocaust denier by Glasgow Friends of Israel on FB so I wanted to set the record straight. I'm pleased to say the Weekly Worker has published my views on Holocaust Guilt and why so many of the UK’s civic bodies, political parties and unions have enthusiastically adopted the IHRA Definition. I maintain it’s all because Churchill did bog all during WW2 to help the Jews. You'll see it on the letters page: scroll down past the first six letters to get to mine here . email me with your views.. the fact that the British Government and the Military top brass were anti-Semitic can be gleaned from the many Mosleyites who were employed, especially after the British Union of Fascists (BUF) was proscribed at the start of the war. The book “M” by Henry Hemming about Maxwell Knight, MI5’s greatest spymaster, who was himself very matey with the BUF, gives useful info on this.

I’ve still had no luck with Liberty or PEN with my seeking their support over my being expelled for freedom of speech over Israel. Neither want to know me. I think I know why, but if you have thoughts, please get in touch.

Labour Against the Witch-hunt Conference

I’m pleased to say that LAW passed both my motions, with minor amendments The first was “LAW support to activists”, the second was a model anti-IHRA motion . I’ve offered to try to find out how many activists have been targeted over the IHRA and I sent this update email to the NEC members to ask- read it if you want a laugh.

"7 day Anti-Semitism Notice" PLP motion

On the 4th Feb, the PLP issued a demand to Corbyn that he “do more to combat anti-Semitism in Labour”. Skwawkbox revealed what really happened that evening– there was no vote, but a scurrilous attack on Formby. The letter to Jeremy Corbyn from MPs Louise Ellman, Margaret Hodge, Luciana Berger, John Mann, Catherine McKinnell, Ruth Smeeth and Wes Streeting that followed got this response from Jenny Formby  who’s turning out better than I expected. She’s getting more confident, I think. Used to be a proper activist- a hard leftie type.

Labour Party anti-Semitism statistics

Then the AS data released on 11th Feb suggested there are, since April, 211 cases of Party members being investigated for AS. My suspicion is that many are, like me, being investigated and targeted because of the bogus IHRA definition - we have criticised Israel. I believe there are therefore hundreds being witch-hunted in Labour, plus more in the unions. I have the dubious honour of being witch-hunted by both. Skwawkbox’s excellent piece says much.

Stan Keable – Employment Tribunal

Stan was sacked from his job at Hammersmith Council last May, after he was filmed at a demo explaining to a Zionist that Hitler had worked with the Zionists before WW2 to help get the Jews out of Germany. Stan is an amazing guy, brave and principled. His freedom of speech matters; nobody should be fired for what they do in their own time, if it does not affect their employer. His employment tribunal will be at the end of May. Please donate to his legal costs here. I put in £150. Please dig deep for this man. Every £5 donation might help him get his job back.
