Hey everyone! 

It's been almost exactly a year since my last update which was regarding the Battle Network Legacy Collection.  Since then, it has gone on to sell over 1M+ copies worldwide as of April 27th, 2023, making it the fastest selling Mega Man game of all time! That's an insane achievement and with the success of Battle Network, many are wondering what's next in line to receive the same treatment? Of course, we are hoping that it will be Star Force and that we will receive word on it soon.

Besides that, I hope all of you are doing fine.  Just the other day I pulled out my DS from the storage room after a very long time and booted up Star Force 2 for the sake of nostalgia, though it was quite the challenge since the card reader in my DS is not working too well anymore, so I had to push the card in harder than usual for the DS to read it, and even then it would disconnect from time to time.  It was still a fun experience to play after a long time.  Lately i've been feeling an urge to play through the first and third Star Force game as well but at the same time i've been very busy with college.  Either ways, I hope I can get around to that someday soon :) 

But with that aside, my reason for making this update is because the petition hit 1500 supporters!! It has now been more than 4 years since I started this petition after finding out about the cancelled sequel through Protodudes article. Since then, we've come quite a long way and it's incredible see such growth.  With this, I hope we can keep pushing forward even more so that someday our goals are realized.  I will keep you updated whenever we get any news about the same.

Also, it has come to my notice that there are actually people donating towards this cause! I was aware that Change has a feature to contribute money towards promoting petitions, but that was still very surprising to see since I never thought that anyone would do so and for some odd reason, Change never showed me these donations which date back to as far as 4 years ago. 

I genuinely appreciate such generous support and also apologize for not addressing it because, as mentioned above, Change is only now letting me know about these donations.  I should also mention that the money donated by these individuals is for promoting the petition (which it did by A LOT) and none of it actually goes towards me, which is absolutely fine because I am doing this purely out of my love for the Star Force series and a desire to see more from it, so it really is up to you whether or not you wish to donate for the sake of promoting this but it is not necessary.  I would be very grateful if you just shared it with your friends and family. 

As for the people who have already donated, i'm not sure what I should do to show my appreciation because it was really unexpected.  I was thinking that I should mention some of the names in the next update or even edit it into this update for the donors that wish for me to do so, but most of the donations the petition has received are anonymous so that's gonna be a challenge.  Either ways, i'll have to figure something out for that and you can recommend some ideas as well!

But that's about it for this update! Sorry that it was much longer than usual but there were several things I wanted to say.
