One last hoop to jump through before we have legal tiny houses! Contact your local building folks! This is the LAST hoop we need to cross to have LEGAL STATUS for tiny houses. We absolutely NEED as many votes as we can get, we have to get a 2/3 majority. We can do it with your help! (If we don't win this vote the tiny house appendix is dead and this tiny homes won't be able to incorporate until 2021 at best) Last week we won the right to a nation wide vote (which was HUGE!). Now we need to make that count. Thousands of officials from across the country will be able to vote on this. Bigger cities votes count for more. As an example, a high population city like Boston's vote may count as ten while my city of Boise is one. We need those of you in big cities to lead this charge and write an email to your building officials (see template/suggestions and how to find them in the link at the bottom). Also though, we need all the little towns to get involved, if one big city votes it down we need 20 little ones to counter that vote for a 2/3rds majority!
