Last week we filed clemency paperwork on behalf of Tina. We want to let Governor Gretchen Whitmer know how important we feel about Tina’s release.

We want to have ALL your voices - respectfully - heard. We are asking each and everyone one of you to write a message online to Governor Whitmer urging her to release Tina from prison.

See below for simple steps:

2. Input your name and contact information.

3. Under the "Issue" category select: Law & Public Safety

4. Under the "Opinion" section please write a message to the Governor that urges her to release Tina. Please be respectful when writing your message. If you need assistance writing a message, see a sample below:

"Dear Governor Whitmer,

Thank you for reading my message written on behalf of Tina Talbot.

Tina Talbot is the victim of 20+ years of domestic violence. She is not a criminal and does not belong in prison. Tina’s son needs her. His special needs are verified and his primary caregiver has always been his mother, Tina.

I urge your consideration and commute of her sentence so they can be rejoined urgently. His health and her ability to provide his needs are serious matters."
