I am writing to inform you that there has been positive progress in our petition. The University President has responded positively and is willing to take our concerns forward. This is an encouraging development, and I will continue to keep you updated on any further progress.

In the meantime, if you have not yet made an appointment with GNIB for transitioning to STAMP 1G, please do so as soon as possible. Please reach out to request an appointment by sending an email to gaillimh.immigration@garda.ie.

Additionally, the International Office at the University of Galway is compiling a list of students who have scheduled their GNIB appointments for late November and beyond. If you have secured an appointment during this time and have not yet reached out to the International Office, I encourage you to email them at international@universityofgalway.ie  to have your name added to the list for an earlier appointment.
