Joss Whedon is not directing Batgirl anymore

There have been stories saying that Batgirl director Joss Whedon has been fired following the backlash from his comments regarding the Justice League film. If this is true, then I am willing to do what I must to make a change. Perhaps we should have a better replacement for Joss. I suggest we might need a female director to helm this project. It’s come to my attention that we need to make sure that ask for more strong female candidates to direct the Batgirl film.
