On your current television commercial which shows a mother who wants better internet service and her little girl who wants a puppy, change the question the woman last asks a Mall Employee to: "Can you tell me where the nearest Animal Shelter is?"
The Issue
I started this Petition because of a Time Warner Cable commercial which I saw on TV early this morning, Jan. 28, 2015, which included the mother, of a little girl who wanted a puppy, asking a Mall Employee where the nearest Pet Store was.
THOUSANDS of PUPPIES, KITTENS, CATS, AND DOGS LIVE and DIE in ANIMAL SHELTERS EVERYDAY! DID THEY EVEN STOP AND CONSIDER HOW MANY PUPPIES, KITTENS, DOGS, AND CATS MIGHT FIND THEIR FOREVER HOMES BECAUSE OF THEIR COMMERCIAL, HAD THE MOTHER ASKED INSTEAD, "CAN YOU PLEASE TELL ME WHERE THE NEAREST ANIMAL SHELTER IS?"
