In case you didn’t know Time Troopers is my favourite game that I don’t own yet.

The solo campaign is so well thought out, and the time-travel theme is done in such a clever way. Every decision feels like it matters, and the deck-building mechanics are really satisfying without being overwhelming.

In the game, you build a squad and travel back in time to recover artefacts that are crucial for saving humanity’s future. You’ll battle armies from past civilizations, sneak into ancient monuments, and manage time as a resource, all while making choices that shape the future timeline. It’s one of those games where you sit down for a quick session and suddenly realise you’ve been playing for hours. The artwork is gorgeous, the gameplay is tight, and the whole experience just pulls you in.

If you enjoy solo games with a strong narrative and smart strategy, I can’t recommend Time Troopers enough.
