National Carers Week October 2022, and the government admits to impoverishing carers!

”Neither Carer Payment or Carer Allowance are intended as a wage to compensate carers for providing care, nor are they designed to cover the full cost of caring for another individual. Wages are paid for by employers, while social security payments are funded by taxpayers and targeted through means tests to those who most in need.“
