On Tuesday 19 April 2022, l made one of my ongoing representations to the incumbent Federal Member for Groom Garth Hamilton MP and his ALP nemesis Gen Allpass who had ALP Senator Anthony Chisholm in tow.

The purpose of the meeting was to discuss this national Petition l raised with input from other carers.

This Petition calls on the Prime Minister and the Federal government to recognise and care for carers, especially those only in receipt of a Carer's Allowance who need immediate, realistic and proper financial recognition.

To me it seems the recognition of carers is a serious issue that no one really wants to commit to, let alone tackle.
