Kakadu deserves the highest level of protection - not uranium mines and toxic mess.

A major contamination leak has halted operations at the Ranger uranium mine after one million litres of highly acidic radioactive slurry has escaped from the mines containment area following the collapse of a tank on December 7 2013.

The spill is the latest and most severe of a string of recent management and system failures at Ranger and poses a direct threat to worker's safety, local communities and the environment of the surrounding World Heritage listed Kakadu National Park.

Please tell the Federal Environment Minister and Ranger's regulators that enough is enough - it's time for Energy Reserouces of Australia  to clean up Ranger and clear out of Kakadu for good.
