We can no longer keep quite. Many of us have been afraid to speak up, to be seen, many of our families have been afraid since they got here and go through all of it for our future. They risk their lives day to day. Enough is enough. Everyone is free on stolen land, we will not continue to accept that we have to be quiet, we will no longer accept that we have to hide! Everyone needs a voice so stand up for everyone in the latino community. Everyday we go through more and more y ya no mas! We gotta do what we were taught, chase our dreams and never let go! I have a few updates on what is currently going on with immigration and the ICE centers. More Corona virus outbreaks are going on in several detention centers and they are still using chemicals can is a severe threat to the detainees. The biggest outbreak is in Eloy. A new ICE immigrant prison is being proposed in Michigan. This would allow detainees to not be along with actual criminals and have better place to stay. ICE is and will be showing up at protest, they are currently taking people under custody. A woman that was returning to her job (essential worker) is now facing sudden deportation which has cause their kids to drop out of college and medical school.
