On August 21st 2018 we lost Stefán Karl Stefánsson, better known for his role as Robbie Rotten of the successful 2003 musical series known as Lazytown.  Stefan Karl contracted cancer in 2016, and after a 2 year battle, passed away at the age of 43.  Stefan quickly became an important figure on the internet through Lazytown memes.  Through his battle with cancer Stefan became an inspiration with his uplifting personality and bright outlook on life despite his illness.
