Flag lowered for Covid lives lost

Governor Walz ordered for the flag to be lowered to half staff for the lives lost to Covid. But he denied the request to lower it for the lives lost to overdose 8/31. Our nation is in mourning and its a national tragedy. Over 200 lives are lost everyday from overdose,some the same day as someone who dies from the covid but those lives lost to overdose don't matter according the denial.
