Change the Dress Code for the St Johns County school district

Change the Dress Code for the St Johns County school district
The Issue
In St Johns County schools our dress code is too harsh, from the fact that we can't have holes too high in our jeans to that we can't have our shoulders showing. If you go to any number of stores, currently you will find ripped jeans, tank tops and off the shoulder shirts. Those stores include JcPenny, Dillard's, American Eagle, Hollister, etc. . It is so hard to go out and find an outfit in dress code and if you're outfit is out of the dress code you'll get pulled out of class therefore disrupting your education because you're "too distracting" to your peers. The shorts they permit are 4 inches above the knee or less. Some students have a hard time either finding said shorts or wearing them because they're too self conscious. There's other shorts which should be permitted but they're not so the students resort to wearing jeans in the Florida heat. Florida is one of the hottest states in America. There's a chance of getting a heatstroke because of the dress code. If the holes are too high in ripped jeans you will be pulled out of class and forced to change as well as if you are wearing a tank top or anything similar. While we can't wear tanks, our teachers and administrators can. This needs to change. My body is not a sexual object or distracting so please help me reach the goal so I can wear clothes to school and be comfortable and not have my learning disrupted. Even 6th grade girls at Patriot Oaks are being told to stand up in the middle of class so they can be checked to make sure they're in dress code, and if they weren't they were pulled out of class and forced to change.
