Scalpers at it yet again with Ed Sheeran!

Ticket-scalpers are still snapping up pre-sale tickets and posting them on resale sites at ridiculously inflated prices over die hard fans who want to see the artist. This is not on! Do not buy those tickets, no matter how hard you want to see the artist, as it just keeps the scalping system at work. Complain to ticketek and ticketmaster and other ticketing companies, write to your local members of parliament, in particular Nick Xenophon, as he has been the one taking the scalping issue to Parliament. Tell your friends, family and co workers, etc not to purchase from those reselling sites, as not only does it perpetuate the system, but there is no guarantee they are legitimate tickets and there are chances of being turned away from the event, even after paying for these resold tickets. Go to the ticketing companies facebook pages and let them know you are not impressed at their lack of dealing with ticketing scalpers/ticket bots. "Sheeran is vehemently opposed to ticket scalping and has urged his fans not to purchase tickets for inflated prices. “Ed’s obsessed about stopping scalping; his manager went to the House of Commons [in Britain] about it,” Sheeran’s promoter Michael Gudinski told the Herald Sun last week. “The prices [for Sheeran’s tour] are very civilised and that’s come from Ed himself. He doesn’t do any VIP packages whatsoever. He hates the idea of charging people to meet him.” More tickets go on sale to the general public next Tuesday. Ticketmaster and Ticketek have not commented on the issue." #saynotoscalping
