Hello everyone! I hope all is going well. Through my work on this petition I have been able to make great connections and this week I got received great news.

I am happy to share I will be assisting with the Hope Can't Wait Campaign, a Petition being brought forward to the house of commons by MP of New Westminster—Burnaby—Maillardville, Jake Sawatzky. 

The aim of this petition is to encourage the Federal Government to adopt a formal National Suicide Prevention Strategy. Canada is the only G7 nation who does not have one, but rather relies of frameworks, which of course are helpful, but a nationwide Prevention Strategy would create a more centralized, coordinated approach to such an important topic. 

I am super thankful to Joshua Bell who came across my campaign and believed I would be of use to this monumental campaign.  When I set out on this mission, my goal was to get myself conversations with real decision makers. Thanks to everyone of you who have signed my petition, this goal is becoming reality. 

This is only the start. There is plenty of work to be done and I am thrilled to contribute.

25% of Canadians aged 15-29 die by suicide. Through Hope Can't wait, lets help change that.
