Grass clippings and or leaves in the roadway has become a major hazard for motorcycle riders in the state of Indiana.  One of my best friends made a post about a month ago trying to bring awareness about grass clippings in the roadway and the dangers to motorcycle riders. When tires come in contact with grass clippings or leaves they loose traction and can cause a motorcycle or vehicle to loose control quickly.  My friend recently passed away due to injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.  It is unsure the cause of the accident, but in honor of my friend Gale Oldham, who was trying to bring more awareness about clippings in the roadway, I have started this petition.  I am asking for your help to keep our roadways clean and safe, stop unnecessary injury and death by passing a law that will make blowing grass clippings and leaves into the roadway illegal.
