As the end of June approaches I can reflect on our last sixth months of campaigning and where I hope the campaign will be in six months time. There has been a flurry of interest and new support to the petition which is fantastic, please take the opportunity today to share again with a personal message, it will take one minute amd could save a life. If you can think of new ways to get the message out there that we oppose BSACI guidelines then please contact us. The campaign have had Memes and other cartoons created by two amazing supporters , please email anything you can think of to our brand new email address alwayscarrytwo@gmail.com As well as email we have a dedicated Instagram page & Twitter page which you can find information on by reading our Facebook campaign page. It would be great for you to show your support by liking and retweeting. As for any progress updates on any guideline changes we are at loggerheads with both charities as they still refuse to update us. When we contact the BSACI they respond saying discuss with Allergy UK. If we post questions to Allergy UK they are deleted from public forums so there is clearly a breakdown in communication. I cant update you if im being kept in the dark by the very people who are supposed to be helping us and frankly for them to think ignoring 48,200 peoples concerns is acceptable beggars belief. We are as a campaign pressure group important in our own right and deserve at the minimum an audience with the BSACI. The campaign continues to gather evidence and support over lack of risk assessments and cases where AAI's are reduced without consultation and we will keep asking the very important question of why only patients in rural areas should obtain 2 AAI's ! What about the right of freedom to travel whenever & wherever we like? From city to rural from rural to city there should be no discriminatory guidelines blocking this from happening. Finally the campaign has press release statements going out shortly and have already had two journalists following the campaign so hoping we will continue to go from strength to strength.
