While support has been growing for the petition, I found out on more information discussed by William Joyce on Instagram on why Disney previously rejected the reboot for Rolie Polie Olie on 2022. Apparently, Disney possibly wanted to change the series by forcing the creator on watering it down the series by inserting tween-appealing content, but William Joyce is obviously not having any of that as the series is not Disney's creation (it is in fact William Joyce's creation).

However like always, we may hope in the future that Disney can eventually understand that making new episodes of Rolie Polie Olie for Disney Plus that sticks true to the charm of the original first six seasons as well as William Joyce's vision isn't so bad after all, which in turn can help grow Disney's branding.
