We, the undersigned students, educators, and internet users, support CRITICA: Think Beyond the Screen, an advocacy that promotes responsible and critical use of digital media. As misinformation, AI-generated content, deepfakes, clickbait, and online manipulation continue to become harder to recognize, we believe that every internet user should have the knowledge and responsibility to question, verify, and think before believing or sharing information. Through digital literacy, critical thinking, and responsible online behavior, we call for a safer and more informed digital community. 

Every day, we encounter information that can influence what we believe, share, and decide. Misleading posts, manipulated images, AI-generated content, clickbait, and unreliable sources can make false information appear convincing. For students especially, being able to distinguish credible information from digital manipulation is important not only for academic work but also for making responsible decisions in everyday life. Without proper awareness, users may unknowingly spread misinformation, expose personal information, or contribute to harmful online behavior. CRITICA seeks to address this problem by equipping users with practical skills to evaluate sources, recognize manipulation, verify information, and practice responsible digital citizenship. 

We, the undersigned, call upon students, educators, internet users, and members of the community to:

1. Think critically before believing, reacting to, or sharing information online.
2. Verify information by checking credible sources, evidence, dates, and the original context.
3. Recognize digital manipulation, including misinformation, deepfakes, AI-generated content, clickbait, and misleading headlines.
4. Protect personal information and practice safe and responsible online behavior.
5. Practice proper netiquette by communicating respectfully and considering the impact of our online actions.
6. Support media and information literacy by sharing reliable resources and helping others become more responsible digital users.

By signing this petition, we stand with CRITICA: Think Beyond the Screen and commit ourselves to becoming more critical, responsible, and informed users of digital technology. We believe that technology becomes more valuable when it is used with knowledge, integrity, and responsibility.
