From October 1 to October 21, please pick a day to fast (according to your own tradition of fasting) to demand the immediate evacuation from Gaza of all remaining 3,700 Palestinian applicants for Canadian visas and the finalization of all 2,500+ applications for Palestinian genocide survivors still stranded in Egypt.

October will mark 21 months of inaction and obstruction by Canada, a modern replica of the None is Too Many barriers used to prevent another people fleeing a genocide during the 1930s and 40s.

During the first 21 months of the Ukraine program, 209,938 people received visas and arrived in Canada. During the first 21 months of the Gaza program, only 886 have been able to arrive in Canada. Canada processed 1400 Ukrainian visas a day. It only processes on average 1.5 Palestinian visas per day.

Hence this fast and the need to keep up the pressure to save lives.
