Some criminals are let off too easy when it comes to our law system. People who abuse, torture or neglect and test on innocent animals. Social media has made it visible to see how much this happens on a day to day basis. Be it not looking after, abandoning, over breeding and to the extreme of torturing for fun. There needs to be laws set in place for animal cruelty. Animals have as much feelings as humans. Over the past few years I've seen videos of dogs being tortured or cats being tattooed. Then there's animal testing. You can't say it's humane or right because it isn't. Every species on our planet deserves a choice within reason. 

My proposal is that the laws on owning and breeding of animals should be looked at.

testing on animals should be banned and we should carry out humane tests on criminals such as rapists, terrorists or abusers. Why should they get to live in suitable conditions while innocent animals are subject to a life of misery through the hands of testing. 

It may sound insane but maybe our crime rates would decrease if they knew how severe punishment could be instead of it being so easy for them to just 'do some time' all paid for by tax payers money? 

 I don't understand how people can inflict cruelty onto another innocent helpless creature. There needs to be some sort of law or license in place for breeding and ownership. And there needs to be stronger convictions for cruelty. And testing needs to stop end of story. Test on criminals. An animal can't consent but it can feel love, pain and it understands. Humans understand right from wrong and know the law. Animals don't have that choice or ability but they do know what's going on around them just like us. Animals don't commit crimes. They don't know right from wrong. But criminals do. Think about it.
