Victory for the Mirror in organ donation campaign

Prime Minister Theresa May today vowed to change the law on organ donation, moving to the Opt Out system the Mirror has been campaigning for over the last two years. Her announcement comes after Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn backed our call to Change the Law for Life in his keynote conference speech last week, telling delegates he had been moved by our campaign. Lib Dem leader Sir Vince Cable had also declared his support for the switch in the law to presumed consent.
