Esther McVey has been appointed DWP secretary. This is a woman that has consistently voted against paying higher benefits over longer periods for those unable to work due to illness or disability and consistently voted for a reduction in spending on welfare benefits. All this whilst her and other parliament members receive expenses for accommodation, staff and travel etc to the tune of £160,000 + while receiving a salary of £140,000 + . The DWP need a leader who cares and has compassion and empathy for sick people, Esther McVey is not that person . We must help the most vulnerable people in society ,this appointment will cause untold problems for our most helpless , please sign this petition to show support for the sick and disabled . It is not right as Esther McVey said that people should use food banks in 2018, It is abhorrent. PLEASE HELP
