Theresa May to Resign as Prime Minister of Britain

Theresa May to Resign as Prime Minister of Britain
The Issue
We, who belong to the majority group in the UK who did not vote to leave the European Union (EU), call upon you Theresa May to resign as Prime Minister of Britain.
Democracy and “the will of the people” is fluid and a multitude of further opinion polls since the advisory referendum demonstrate that the public has shifted towards supporting pro-European political parties and wanting to remain in a reformed European Union (EU). As our Prime minister you are required to acknowledge this and act accordingly.
The vote to leave was won by the slimmest of majorities, moreover, many of those who would be most affected by Brexit were denied a voice. A true leader would act in the interests of the 73% who did not vote to leave the EU as well as the 27% of the population who voted to leave. There is no legal or moral mandate to pursue Brexit and no mandate or permission given whatsoever by the British public to leave the common market , EEA or the customs union, all of which are independent of the EU.
By pursuing a hard Brexit, without having held another referendum upon the terms of exit or addressing the lies and incitement of hatred in the press during the previous referendum, you are not acting legitimately in the interests of the people.
The EU referendum highlighted the concerns of many voters, from both sides of the debate all of which can be addressed without risking the economic and moral welfare of our country by leaving the union.
We believe that we could achieve a more positive future for our country by engaging more with the EU and by taking a leading role within the European Union and we do not want those opportunities taken away.
It is a serious matter when an unelected Prime Minister pursues a course of action which is against the national interest, and at the same time sidelines our members of parliament, who have been voted in democratically by the electorate to work for the welfare of their constituents.
Additionally, you do not represent the views of your own constituents in Maidenhead, 54% of which voted to remain within the EU.
In pushing forward your Brexit agenda you are no longer capable of representing us in parliament
We find your failure to listen to the shifting views of the electorate since taking on your prime ministerial role totally unacceptable, so we "the people", demand that you resign.
