We'd just like to take a moment to thank all the new signers for joining the campaign. Well over half a million people have now signed to say 'No' to repealing the act! We'd also like to introduce Nicky Waterson. We met through the campaign and she has been a fantastic support to me (Becky) campaigning on this issue so far. From now on she will be helping me to manage this petition and helping me to write to you all. Nicola was interviewed by the BBC this morning, you can listen here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p02vjmp5 at about 40mins onwards. Feel free to tweet your comments to @BBCLeeds and @lizgreenlive The last two days have seen monumental support by way of protests outside Parliament and Downing Street, peaceful, positive action by people determined to keep this ban in place. Dr Brian May, Angus Robertson and Caroline Lucas were among the speakers on Tuesday and while the protest was taking place we were thrilled to find that David Cameron had postponed the vote due to the SNP's decision to BACK THE BAN. Excellent news! Although Cameron is no doubt seeking this opportunity to retreat, lick his wounds and come up with yet another strategy to slip this repeal in against popular opinion (we're at 80% pro ban at the moment!), it means for us that we have longer to campaign, get the press to share our message, sign and share this petition, and make sure that whenever he tries again we will be ready to make sure that we #keeptheban Thanks again for your support! Becky & Nicky
