Elephant rampages - Real risk or fabricated propaganda?

There has been lots of unfair media portrayals that elephants are a radical group, extremists, and fanatics. But this is all a lie deep rooted in the history of the ivory trade. Their previous wars were in self defence against an occupying force. Most elephants shun the violent minority, and have made efforts to coexist with the west.
Ruby was a 4.5 ton Asian elephant that lived at the Phoenix Zoo and was famous for creating paintings. The most expensive of her paintings sold for $25,000. It was from here that an example of goodwill was presented and bloodlust was left behind.
No, I am not an elephant, nor would I impersonate or culturally appropriate one. My defence of these creatures stems from a long history of growing up watching these kind beings be forced to dance for money, or have their image tarred in racist films such as Dumbo or Tarzan.
Elephant rampages have been down to one of two things - a cry for help, or an insurgency pioneered by Zoo keepers of the world who use them as revenue.
Both are Irrelephant to the issue at hand.
