My name is Georgina i am writing this petition as this is something i feel really strong about. I read an article the other day about a guy who murdered his dog and this dog did nothing to him except love him and trust him! All this guy got was 12 measly weeks in prison! And a 5 year ban of owning dogs! So i am doing this petition as i want harsher sentences on these people! This man will be let out after 6 weeks on good behaviour! And could go out and get a cat and do the same thing!. Animals are our family! Animals are beautifully and should be treated with the decency as a human being! If he had murdered a human being he would of got life! Justice for animals! If they kill or harm in such a way that they have to be put to sleep through the owners fault or from anyone! They deserve to get life! Animals can't speak up like we can so we need to speak out for them! Lets do this for all the suffering animals out there! Lets get the right justice for them! Please sign this so i can get it to parliament and make a change!
