On the eve of what is shaping up to be a landmark moment in our democracy, we are delighted that almost a million of you have now signed our petition to demand a Final Say on the Brexit deal. In just 24 hours, we’ve seen over 70,000 new sign-ups – it’s clear this is an issue which is gaining momentum every single day.

Tomorrow, we will make our voices heard on the streets of London too, as The Independent teams up with the People’s Vote campaign for the March for the Future.

We already know that many people who voted in 2016 to leave the EU have changed their minds. Others want a say on whether to press on with whatever withdrawal deal the prime minister gets – if indeed she gets one. Whichever side you’re one, now is the time to come together to make sure the government listens to the people and involves everyone, rather than a small group of warring politicians.

We hope very much that you will join the protest, marching alongside many members of our editorial team, as we tell the government what they need to hear; and as we repeat our call – loud and clear – for a Final Say.
