YOUR WORK COAX IS A DANGEROUS CLOWN Hey, Dear Readers! What are you up to today? Are you doing your research? Good! As I have said before, you must scrutinize everything! These people in the DWP/JCP/Universal Credit/Tax Credits Office rely upon you to not do your research. They try to confidence trick you into believing that they have authority over you when they do not. FIRST CONTACT - WORK COACH OR THE TRUE DESCRIPTION: WORK COAX Here's an insight into the whether or not your work coax has any legal standing with the following:- 01. Access to your Universal JobMatch account. Access to your Universal JobMatch account is voluntary. You do not have to give it. I overheard Callous Karen asking to have access to someone's email account as well as their online job agency accounts. No way! 02. Claimant Commitment. Your Claimant Commitment should be tailor-made for you! It shouldn't be influenced by your work coax to include an element or elements that aren't conducive your needs and goals. With your "work activity" it can be hard to quantify what that actually entails. And, if you have been assigned to a work coax who is unintelligent, like my former Tricky Vicky, then he or she will not be in a position to understand your objectives. In my case, I told my work coax that I needed to create an online portfolio in order apply to Graphic & Multimedia Design jobs but she would not let me as she considered that to be "self-employment" work. This, by the way, is the reason why I got sanctioned for 28 days! And there is no reason why I or you should be prohibited to explore self-employment without the New Enterprise Allowance Scheme. It is so important that you do your best to build a solid relationship with your work coax. If you and your work coax cannot agree then ask to be assigned to another one. DO NOT WASTE ANY TIME WITH A WORK COAX (COACH) THAT DOES NOT UNDERSTAND YOU! THE WORK COAX IS A LIAR Yes, you may have been lulled into a false sense of what the work coax is about. You are meant to take everything they say as gospel but, most of the time, at least as far as my experiences go at JPC Enfield, the work coax is nothing but a confidence trickster - hence my term, Tricky Vicky. For example, I was told that should I not go on to be self-employed after being on the New Enterprise Allowance Scheme then I would NEVER, EVER get to go on the New Enterprise Scheme again. I have looked for this ruling and not been able to find it. My former work coax, Tricky Vicky, was too stupid to take me through the process of the New Enterprise Allowance Scheme (NEA) from start to finish. She had no clue as to what she was doing where the NEA or anything else was concerned. Then there is this "13-week" notion that should you not be able to find a job in your last profession, i.e. a Graphic & Multimedia Designer, then you must apply for any job! Well, I have looked for this ruling and I have yet to find it. It's just horseshit! The work coax is mainly a lazy pathological liar but, as you know, laziness and pathological liars don't necessarily go together - not if the pathological liar doesn't want to get caught out! My Tricky Vicky was easy to catch out as she really has the idea that unemployed people must be thick because they'd be in a job, like her, sitting in a cozy chair all day and not doing anything worthwhile. Tricky Vicky thought I would believe everything she told me. Even my new work coax, Keep It Simple Susan/Stephanie Stepford shares similar ideas such as the 13-week job theory (as told above). The difference between my current work coax and the last one is that Keep It Simple Susan/Stephanie Stepford speaks very clearly and possesses a greater degree of rationale but this doesn't mean that she won't, like Tricky Vicky, try to funnel you into customer services which they think is easy to get into. THE BITTERSWEET IRONY The work coax is supposed to build a bespoke plan to get you back into work. However, because most of the work coaxes are lazy - at least in JCP Enfield - to listen to you and what your needs are and design a custom plan that includes trust on your part, our part to do the things that will enable us to find employment in the quickest time possible. Me? I am a mature man a shade over 40 and my work coax should be able to trust that I am going to do what I say I am going to do to land a job! One of the things that used to annoy the shit out of me is that Tricky Vicky treated everything I said about looking for work as a lie. She's a nasty piece of work! Very nasty! Look, I don't know about you but when I am passionate about acquiring a much-desired position I will do just about everything in my power to attain that goal. Trust me when I say that I am hungry for work and that role is that of a Vegan Chef/Cook! It is going to happen! I predict that I will be a Vegan Chef/Cook by the end of March, beginning of April 2017 - if I do not get any more bloody crippling sanctions! Also, if I am allowed to do the things that I NEED to do in order to get me that job! Currently, my work coax is insisting that I apply to about 25 jobs per day. At the moment I am going along with it as the sanctions mean that I can't do the things that I need to do in order to present myself to a Vegan restaurant. I swear, if it wasn't for the sanctions I would be on my way to my dream job or in it by now. This Headless Chicken approach to finding work simply prolongs unemployment. Here the work coax just insists upon getting in your way by getting you to do things that you just wouldn't do to get a job such widen your job search remit to include what he or she suggests (because they think it is easy). So, you end up watering down your focus. Your work coax should never be in a position to overburden you with widening your job palette if you think they are unreasonable. Going from being a Graphic & Multimedia Designer to customer services just does not make any sense to me at all. My former Tricky Vicky would use terms like, "transferable skills" in the wrong context. The meaning of "transferable skills" is to sell your skills to a prospective employer in a specific job that YOU are looking for, not what your work coax is telling you to do! You may not have any experience in a job that you are looking for but you have the qualifications and the motivation; you must be able to sell these attributes to an employer. Your work coax should be helping you to create the right/best impression of yourself to a prospective employer. What happens at my JCP in Enfield is quite the opposite. CONCLUSION Do not take what your work coax says for gospel. If it sounds dodgy then it is because it is dodgy. Your work coax does what he or she thinks is the easiest way to get you off his or her books and nothing more. Sure, there are some good ones out there who go out of their way to help the hopeful unemployed but such people are rare. Look, you NEED to take control of all aspects of your life. Apologies if you feel that I am talking down to you. But reports of people starving to death and committing suicide without challenging these assholes tells me that many take these clown authority figures too seriously. If I left it up to my former and current work coax I'd be shining shoes for a living. Not that shining shoes is a bad profession but I am a Vegan Chef. As much as I love Graphic & Multimedia Design and Social Media Marketing the chances of me finding a job in that direction are getting slimmer by the day! I really need to be working full on to develop an online portfolio and my work coax does not understand that. My current and former work coax are not in any position to understand what my profession requires and therefore should not be in a position to tell me what it is that I need to do. Think about it, my former work coax expanded my work goals to include customer services yet I do not have a CV geared towards that industry. How many weeks of being forced to apply to these positions were wasted? That's how stupid and dangerous these work coax clowns are. They'll mess up your job goals in their ignorance. I had to tell my new work coax that I ought to see if I can develop a CV aimed at customer services if she is going to insist on me applying for jobs in that direction. Hence my visit to the National Careers Service appointment made on my own volition. To be honest with you, I shouldn't have given in. I should have stuck to my guns. But because I am genuinely hungry for work I thought it would not hurt to try my hand at something new; I might as well go for it with a specialized CV. It didn't occur to my new work coax for me to develop a Customer Services CV; if I wanted to I could have applied for these positions using my current CV geared towards design knowing that I would be rejected time after time. I am just not like that! So, if you are genuinely looking for a specific job and your work coax is getting in the way then you need to ask to be assigned to a new work coax who is prepared to work with you. Don't let the people in your JCP take you for a ride. You will end up doing something that you have no interest in and regret. Employment should afford you some satisfaction. The work coax say that you can more easily find a dream job when you are employed but that is crap! Look, if your long-term goal is to be employed as a director of shooting TV commercials then you will not be able to get a job in that industry while you are working on reception in a hotel. When I worked in Holland as a Graphic & Web Designer I was able to get the same position working for different employers; the first question is, "Who are you currently work for?" I wish work coaxes would stop talking shit and bloody well do what they are paid to do! Yeah, the freaking irony! These bloody work coaxes seldom do what they are supposed to do.
