Hey there, Dear Readers! It is wonderful to see you as always! I know of your pain... I know exactly how it is to be sanctioned. I know what it is to be targeted for continual disruption through being sanctioned from 2013 to November and December 2016. I am determined to escape the Universal Credit system of bullshit! I am very angry, to say the least! I am using that anger in a constructive way to expose this corrupt system of illegal sanctioning of the welfare assistance to the vulnerable. Yes, we are all vulnerable without our welfare. I have to remind myself of that fact. In the flesh, I must look like some guy who is capable of decimating you with my bare hands. But without my welfare, I am as vulnerable as the next person. Oh, I am not a violent person. So, if you see me on my travels, do not be afraid to say "Hi". The story so far... THE DWP/JCP/UNIVERSAL CREDIT SYSTEM EXPOSED SCREWED BY THE SYSTEM I am not too sure if I have gone deeper than any other person exposing this system of corruption. Well, it's not like it is a contest... All I am doing is to write down my true account of what has been happening to me from 2013 to this very day! Let me break down my story so far... August 2013, I came off the 2-year Back to Work Program. Whilst on that program I discovered how corrupt it was. I was on the self-employment option and the people who were supposed to enable business startups were con artists using the "Working Tax Credit Scam". Basically, people sign off Job Seekers Allowance to claim Working Tax Credit while their businesses grow to eventually turn a profit. There is nothing wrong with that aspect; I was on Working Tax Credit in 2014. The scam aspect is that the so-called "business advisors" couldn't care less if I had a viable business plan or not. All they wanted me to do was to sign the forms to enable me to claim Working Tax Credit. I resisted on the basis that I wanted my business to be a success; I didn't want to come back on JSA with my tail between my legs as the head of the self-employment wing of the Back to Work program put it, "after 13 weeks you can go back on JSA," who the hell was he to dash my dreams of self-employment so that he could reap the government payout for absolutely nothing? As a result, I parted company with one of his "business advisors" and eventually came up with a business model that could work without a great deal of finance behind it. September 2013, I asked my JCP adviser, Dim Tim, to place me on the New Enterprise Allowance Scheme in order for me to sign off Job Seekers Allowance. I wanted to capitalize on the Winter Holiday downtime as my business utilizes the Internet. Dim Tim tells me that I have to do something called the Mandatory Work Activity and I was telling him no! I stuck to my guns! I had something worthwhile to do and I was not about to give it up because Dim Tim said so. Moreover, Dim Tim had promised me that after I had taken part on the 2-year Back to Work Program and it didn't work out then he'd place me on the NEA (which is what I wanted to do in place of the Back to Work program). This is when I received my first of many sanctions. Although I did eventually make it on the New Enterprise Allowance Scheme the sanction made sure that I couldn't go through with the NEA. It struck me as odd that my so-called "advisor" at JCP Enfield would try to force me into a Mandatory Work Activity scheme without even asking to learn anything about my business proposal. I reckon the reason why Dim Tim didn't ask for any details about my business is because the company involved in the Mandatory Work Activity scheme, Seetec, has some Tory involvement in it i.e. Seetec is given a large government contract to get people back into work and a majority of that money is siphoned off into someone's pocket. It's bullshit. A real JCP advisor (now called a "work coach" come coax) would have placed me on the NEA so that I could do my business. So, from there, I realized that JCP Enfield and the DWP at large is corrupt. My needs should have come first and they did not (for the reasons above - to make up the numbers to put money in someone's pockets). I wonder how much I was worth to Seetec... I must have inadvertently pissed people off. TOUGH! I'm not having people mess with my life so that they can make a profit off me! Forget it! December 2013, I signed off, as I said I would, to explore my business idea. I have the paperwork to show how the JCP Enfield and DWP were trying to make out that I didn't have a genuine business proposal and that I "failed to do the Mandatory Work Activity". I won my tribunal against that idiotic sanction. January 2014, I was on Working Tax Credit and hard at work on my business. Things were pretty tough but I was determined to make my business turn a profit. I really could have done with the mentorship that the NEA would have afforded me. I was so committed to making my business work that I stuck with it. I didn't want to let it go. Today, I still feel like making a go of it but it takes a lot of effort and these bloody work coaxes make my life difficult what with the continual sanctions. September 2015, I walked into a Business Centre to see if I could get some help. I was reluctant to seek help from such an institution as I have been let down by them countless times. However, I knew that if I didn't try to get some help the business would crash and burn. Surprisingly, I got some great help! I was about to put what I have learned into action... October 2015, I learned through the council that my Working Tax Credit had stopped and therefore so had my rent assistance. I was shocked to the core. I phoned up the Tax Credits Office numerous times to make some sense of it all. I must have spoken with at least 3 or 4 different people on the helpline who told me different things. I was told that the reason way my payments had stopped was because I stopped working for an employer in April 2015 and then stopped working for another employer in May 2015 yet my Working Tax Credit payment stopped all the way in October 2015??? A call to the main Tax Office and a request for my Employment History proved that this assertion that I had worked for two companies and finishing with them respectively in April and May of 2015 was a lie. Anyway, to cut a long story short, I had to instigate a tribunal against the Tax Credits Office. I won. But my business was in tatters. January 2016, I was forced to sign up to Universal Credit. I sure as heck didn't want to! I wanted to continue with my business. The reason why I had to sign up to Universal Credit was because the rent had gone into arrears from October 2015 to January 2016! I would have gotten evicted had I chose to carry on fighting this corrupt system to remain on Working Tax Credit thus keeping my business! As soon as I signed on I received a letter from the Tax Credits Office to say that because I had signed up to Universal Credit my claim for Working Tax Credit was void. Surprise, surprise... That letter came within a couple of days! But it took from, let's say, November 2015 to January 2016 for some idiot in the decision-making department of the Tax Credits Office to tell me that I didn't qualify. Dirty scumbags! One person that I spoke to on the phone from a department based in Blackpool, I think, told me, "You are not very good at what you are doing... You have to work harder. You must be earning minimum wage to qualify for Working Tax Credit..." All bullshit! In a nutshell, I was told to reapply for the Working Tax Credit and although I did qualify to claim I was denied. And because I was denied I had to instigate a tribunal. Again, I have the paperwork that proves that the Tax Credits Office decision makers lied about why I was denied my claim. Did I mention that these people are evil? These people are freaking evil in the extreme! My business, had I been left to keep growing it, could be at a stage where I could have expanded and take on a couple of people. Part Two coming up... Stay tuned...
