Good day, Readers! Over 700 signatures, eh? Not bad for a one man band! I am quite happy with this result thus far but I must say that I thought we would have gotten so many more signatures. The British Public can be a funny lot... I have just seen a petition for the late, great George Michael to be knighted posthumously. It's gotten 11k signatures! WOW! But somehow, I don't think George Michael would have wanted a knighthood if he was alive let alone posthumously! I got the impression, that George Michael, towards the latter stages of his career, was quite political and anti-ruling class. Anti-Draconian! Don't believe me? I think that George Michael would have wanted to end this war on the vulnerable British Public who lose part or all of their legal entitlements to welfare through Draconian sanctions that do not make any sense whatsoever.
