Banning the public use and sale of fireworks will stop them being misused which will in turn stop:-

1. Harm to people.
2. Damage to property.
3. Harm to animals.
4. Distress to animals.
5. Save money in call outs to the above for the police and fire departments.

Public organised events should still be allowed. Many are organised to raise money for local charities. If organised events were the only available way of watching fireworks, all of the above will benefit as will many local charities.
